Stained Glass Birds
I have always found stained glass windows to be the ultimate mosaics. Pieces of glass, made of swirling colors and deep hues, meld together to create a story; sharing more emotional depth than words often can. I wanted to take my love of mosaics and stained glass, and use that to create a new kind of quilt.

What could be more lovely than a rose bush? Whether they are red, pink, orange, or lavender, roses sprout out from dusty, thirsty land to fill our eyes with beauty. They are as resilient as they are lovely, and stand as inspiration to never forget that there is beauty everywhere, if only we will ourselves to find it.

I love creating collections and bringing a story throughout my designs. For Mosaic Mementos, I created patterns using colors that reminded me of sipping tea out of my favorite black tea cup with my daughter, using my mother's antique doilies, and listening to The Cure while we enjoy our tea and memories. I used abstract shapes to highlight my love of mosaics.
There's nothing I love more than being outside in nature. The uniqueness of every leaf, flower, and blade of grass, fills me with awe, peace, and joy. Whenever I step outside, I am inspired to create something beautiful as a thank you for the natural artistry I am blessed to behold every day in the world around me. A Dream of Leaves is a small homage to the intricate wonders of leaves, vines, and grass.
