Hello there! My name is Vanessa from VKay Art. Thank you so much for visiting my website!

 

I have always loved art, and enjoy creating whenever I have a free moment to sketch, paint, design, or even just crochet. As a mother, wife, step-mother, step-grandmother, and full-time World Languages teacher, I have a life that is full, vibrant, and yes, extremely busy! Making art fills me with such joy and allows me to recharge and reconnect. I love painting in the early morning, sometimes in silence, and sometimes while listening to audiobooks or classical music.  I love working on my designs after being inspired by the beauty I see around me whether that be a view of the ocean, or the way a wine bottle catches the light in front of the fire. I find myself constantly in awe of the grandeur of what surrounds us every day. In addition to making art and spending time with my friends and family, I enjoy reading, crocheting, listening to music, writing, traveling, and going to concerts.
