Vanessa Perez is the artist behind VKay Art. Vanessa is an artist, and a full-time World Languages teacher at her local high school, as well as a wife, mother, step-mother, and even grandmother. She began her VKay Art business in her mid-forties when she realized it was time to start dreaming again. When one gives so much to others it is easy to forget one's own secret desires for life. Through embracing her passion for creating art, she was able to not only bring joy to herself but also to others. Painting, designing, and creating art of all kinds fills her heart with gratitude and allows her to continue feeling inspired enough to help inspire others. There can truly be no greater satisfaction in life than that!

Why VKay Art? One of Vanessa's fondest memories as a child was when her grandmother would call her Vanessa Kay. She would write that on all of her birthday cards and it always made Vanessa feel a little extra special. Thus, when Vanessa started painting she signed all of her work with VKay.
